We have had three kids in braces with Dr. Kierl, and our experience has been great. The kids really enjoyed having him as their orthodontist. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We had very few issues with braces breaking or causing problems, but when something did come up, they were quick to get us in and fix it. Thanks, Dr. Kierl!

Dr. Kierl and his staff are so amazing! Dr. Kierl took excellent care of me before & after reconstructive jaw surgery. He ensured everything was just right. Now both of my teenage boys are in braces and the care they are receiving is always top notch. The Sure Smile technology is incredible and allows for more precise alignment & less time in braces! The staff is always friendly & scheduling is easy!

They are absolutely wonderful with my son. He was very nervous about braces but we have had an amazing experience. Everyone is helpful and nice and always treats us so patiently.

Dr. Kierl is wonderful with kids! He makes the process seamless. Madison is who generally assists at my daughter’s appointments, she is kind and extremely knowledgeable! I recommend them!

My family’s journey with braces began roughly a decade ago with Dr. Kierl. Our eldest son, Alex, has cerebral palsy, which made the thought of tackling braces a tad anxiety ridden. However, Dr. Kierl and his entire team went out of their way to not only make Alex feel comfortable, but also shared ideas and tips to help him through the process. Alex was never treated any differently, even though some things were more difficult not only for him, but with him. It was one of the first times a doctor had explained things to Alex and not solely to me. It made Alex feel important and our entire family was so appreciative of that.

Our youngest son felt right at home at Scissortail Orthodontics, even as an introvert. Dr. Kierl was always able to get him to talk about something he enjoyed, which helped calm his nerves immensely. When he lost his retainer, the staff asked him to write a fictional story about how the retainer was lost. There was no scolding or making him feel badly about losing it. He enjoyed creating a story about a rebel cowboy cactus stealing his retainer and kept better care of the replacement.

Our daughter is now a patient there. Last year she was diagnosed with a chronic illness which often results in the repeated rescheduling of appointments. It also results in her arriving at appointments not feeling well. The entire staff has been so understanding and empathetic towards our family. Kaitlyn often receives encouragement while we’re there and the staff is so kind and caring. She especially loves Diane in the front office for her sweet and giving nature, and Connie for always making her feel confident and understood.

Dr. Kierl is not only professional but he always make sure each and every patient is comfortable. Scissortail Orthodontics has one of the most caring and professional staffs my family has ever experienced. The atmosphere is friendly, calming, and welcoming. Our family would highly recommend it to everyone!

My daughter (13 yo) was very nervous about getting braces. From the initial assessment through the first several months Scissortail has been amazing! The resources they provide are top notch and we have already started to see significant improvements in her mouth. They worked well with our insurance and were clear about expenses and payment plans.

Update: 1 year in and things have been fantastic. Wonderful service, consistent care, and the best part her teeth look amazing already!

We have just completed phase one…it’s unbelievable the change in his jaw line and face structure! His smile is so much bigger and so is his confidence! The staff from the front to the back are incredible, kind, and always joyful!! We will see you guys soon for phase 2!!!

Overall best experience I’ve ever had going to a dentist/ortho. Very welcoming and considerate to possibly being embarrassed about your teeth. They walk you through everything step by step and make you feel comfortable!

Everyone in this practice is amazing, from the receptionists all the way to the Dr. As an adult, and this being my second time for braces, I can say the process was seamless, professional ,and the office was always clean with friendly staff! They moved my teeth quickly and kept me informed of the process. I’m very pleased with the care I received from this entire practice! I also chose them for my daughter and they have done a wonderful and thorough job with her as well!
